I'm Biased Dress – Alternative Cutting Layout (147 cm Fabric)

The original I'm Biased Dress was designed with a centre front seam to create a beautiful chevron effect when sewing with stripes. But when working with checks or other fabrics where a centre seam isn't needed, there's another option!

I've put together a simple cutting guide for 147 cm wide fabric, showing how to cut the front and back on the fold while maintaining that lovely bias drape. I've also included instructions for finishing the front neckline with a small facing.

The extra fabric width allows for a more efficient cutting layout, so you'll need less fabric too. As a guide the medium dress required 4 metres of fabric. Refer to 140 fabric consumption as a guide.
