I'm Biased Dress & Blouse PDF Pattern

This bias-cut dress/blouse is designed to celebrate stripe placement and fluid movement. 
Centre front and centre back seams are intentionally used to frame and highlight directional stripes, creating visual length and flow. A softly shaped V-neck bodice features an elasticated collar with front ties for a relaxed fit. The bodice sits closer to the body before releasing into a voluminous blouse or maxi-length skirt, designed to be worn loose or cinched with a belt. Split raglan sleeves balance structure and ease, with a refined upper sleeve transitioning into a full, peasant-style lower sleeve for soft drama. The overall silhouette is effortless and feminine, blending bohemian ease with thoughtful pattern engineering for a blouse to pair with jeans, pants or shorts and a dress to wear to a long lunch, dinner date or summer vacation.

As always there are pockets, of course.

I like to provides patterns as a base, the rest is up to your creativity & fabric choice to create your very own piece to love.

This of course, does not need to be made with stripes, a plain fabric will create an equally beautiful silhouette

Perfect in lightweight Indian block print fabric or go slightly crisper in a poplin or linen for an even more luxe dress. 

Sizing is XS - XL. Suggest checking skirt length you may need to add or take off at these points. Photos of sample dress and blouse are Medium and I am 174 cm in height, so you may need to take off some length or add.

Below is a guide for measurement & guide for fabric consumption information. Fabric guide is based on 110cm wide  striped fabric. If you use wider fabric or do not have stripes to match you will need less. Supplementary cutting guide for 140 cm wide fabric has been added to download files.

Available as downloadable pdf files in A0, you can get this printed at Officeworks or equivalent.  Also available as A4/Letter which you can print at home and piece together. There are 56 x A4 pages for dress, 36 x A4 pages for Blouse in separate files for your convenience. The Dress and Blouse Patterns are combined in 4 x A0 pages.

Sewing ability is an intermediate sewist, although with support of a Youtube video provided for cutting stripes and instagram highlights and Youtube video for collar guidance, an adventurous beginner could definitely achieve this.
