Summer Vibes Dress | PDF Sewing Pattern

A relaxed, easy-to-wear dress designed for warm days, holidays and everything in between. Throw it on over swimmers for the beach, wear it straight through to dinner, or dress it up for a summer night out. It also layers well, making it just as wearable through the cooler months.

Summer Vibes is semi-fitted through the bust with voluminous sleeves, an open front with ties, a small collar and a gathered skirt with pockets. It brings together so many of the details I love in a dress — relaxed, feminine and easy to wear.

The pattern works beautifully in lightweight cottons, especially Indian block prints, but it also works well in linen and linen/cotton blends for a slightly more structured look.

The pattern is available as downloadable PDF files in both A0 and A4 formats. The A0 file can be printed at Officeworks or a copy shop and includes 2 sheets. The A4 version can be printed at home and pieced together, with 36 pages in total.

Sizing
Available in sizes S–XXL. Body and finished garment measurements are included. I recommend checking the sleeve and skirt lengths before cutting and adjusting these if needed.

Sewing Level
Best suited to an experienced beginner/intermediate sewist. A YouTube guide is available to help with the collar construction.

Fabric Requirements
For 110 cm wide fabric, you will need approximately 4.3–4.6 metres, depending on size. Less fabric may be required if using a wider fabric.
