The Collected Blouse is inspired by a love of combining block print fabrics, carefully curated and collected over many years. Its name reflects both the fabrics and the familiar shapes gathered over time that have slowly become part of Karmme Apparel’s signature style.
A luxuriously voluminous bishop sleeve, with added gathers at the shoulder, creates a soft boho-luxe feel. An external front placket with tie or tassel detailing provides an opportunity to showcase contrasting prints and thoughtful fabric combinations. The yoke sits at the upper bust, with soft gathers through the front and across the back bodice creating a relaxed, romantic silhouette.
Fit Notes & Fabric Suggestions
While The Collected was originally inspired by block print fabrics, it works equally well in linen and other soft, fluid fabrics with a gentle drape.
The sleeves are designed at full length with trans-seasonal dressing in mind. Wear them pushed up to the elbow for a more dramatic puff, or shorten the sleeve to suit your preferred look.
The blouse is designed to be worn loose, tucked or half-tucked into jeans, pants, shorts or skirts. Soft gathers through the front and back create generous ease through the bust, while the yoke also has a relaxed fit.
If you prefer a neater, more fitted silhouette, consider sizing down.
The garment shown in the photographs is a size Medium, worn on a height of 174 cm, as a guide to overall length and fit.
Sizing Notes
Sizing is XS–XL.
I suggest checking both the sleeve and bodice lengths before cutting, as you may wish to add or remove length at these points.
Below is a guide to measurements and fabric requirements. Fabric quantities are based on 110 cm wide fabric. If using a wider fabric, you may require less.
